Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata has confounded common consensus by telling investors that "Considering, that the fact that Wii has been out in the market less than three years since its launch, Wii titles, especially, third-party titles are reaching the million seller mark much faster than on Nintendo DS."

In related news, IGN also points out that Iwata has told a Q&A that the company intends to start enabling demos of some full Wiiware titles at some unstated point in the future.
