"On July 9, 2008, the business combination between Activision, Inc. and Vivendi Games, Inc. was consummated. As a result of the consummation of the business combination, Activision, Inc. was renamed Activision Blizzard, Inc". Everybody got that straight again?

Right, so Activision Blizzard has delivered its third quarter results and saw that they were good.

Before we get to those, however, how did each platform stack up for the company? Basically, "MMORPGs" did the financial business, so that's World of Warcraft. Next up in terms of pure percentage of net revenue is the Xbox 360, this is followed by - neck and neck - the PS3 and the Wii.

Three Months Ended September 30th 2009
$ amount in millions then % of Net Revenue

MMORPG: $301 - 43%
PC and other - $32 - 5%

Console
Microsoft Xbox 360: $104 - 15%
Sony PlayStation 3: $73 - 10%
Nintendo Wii: $72 - $10%
Sony PlayStation 2: $37 - 5%

Handheld
Sony PlayStation Portable: $9 - 1%
Nintendo Dual Screen: $21 - 3%

Total: $649 - 92%

The other 8% is made up of revenues made from distribution.

On the financials, basically, here are the net figures:

Net Income Three months ended September 30
2008: -$108 million.
2009: $15 million.

Net Income Nine months ended September 30
2008: -$36 million.
2009: $399 million.

Strangely, however, its booked assets for 2008 were $14,465 compared to $ 13,452 this year.
