The US PlayStation 'blog' has made the proud announcement that Netflix is now available for the PS3. Strange... very strange because it wasn't so long ago that it was being hailed at an Xbox 360 Exclusive.

Bear in mind, you do have to have a disc in the drive to use the service.

The official blurb is, "Great news for everyone who wants to instantly watch movies and TV episodes via your PS3: it’s available now! If you’ve requested a Netflix instant streaming disc for PS3, it’s on its way to you. If you haven’t, go to Netflix.com/PS3 today to get your disc. Enjoy!"
