F1 2010 Is "The Most Authentic Experience Possible"
Simulation. It's the future. And Codemasters is saying that its upcoming F1 2010 game will deliver realism by the carload, as Formula One test driver Anthony Davidson reveals it's the "most authentic experience possible."

A developer diary for the game sees Davidson explain the "unique ‘twitchy’ way in which F1 cars handle and how this is translated into authentic gameplay." His experience on the track has been useful for the team at Codies to better represent the physics and nuances of the cars and tracks.

Chief games designer Stephen Hood says that creating an F1 game brings added pressures. "The preference has always been to go down the simulation path. You can make a realistic sim easier to play for somebody but it’s very difficult to take an arcade handling system and make that appeal to people who prefer simulation handling."

Watch the video below and learn. Learn the wonders of simulation technology and how it will blow your mind. Or just get excited about the F1 simulation awesomeness. Enjoy.

The last good F1 game I played was on the PS1. Lets hope this ups the game again and make it a worthwhile purchase.

I don't care about simulation I want cars that turn when I want them to like GTAIV not cars that don't turn (the last GT demo comes to mind) F1 championship Edition (ps3 launch title IIRC) is perfect for me
