Microsoft Executive: Natal for October 2010 - the Full Interview
Saudi show misses scoop
The Up to Date TV show on Saudi Arabias' KSA2 apparently has a scoop: Microsoft's Natal will be launching in October worldwide. This is, of course, a month ahead of the previous 'definite' launch date.
Interviewing Marketing Manager of Entertainment and Devices at Microsoft Saudi, Syed Bilal Tariq, on the phone the show's excellent host manages to extract the following:
"I do have great news to share with everybody that Project Natal will be launched in Saudi Arabia on the same date as it will be launched in the rest of the world, that is going to be somewhere in October, i.e. will will be in a position to confirm the date after E3, which is in June, but definitely it is going to be October 2010 and we will have it in Saudi Arabia for sure."
Strangely, the interviewer entirely misses his scoop and moves on to talk about Office 2010. Maybe not so strange, if you listen to what sounds like a third voice over-talking during the Natal announce. Watch the show below, Natal starts at around 37:32.
