Xbox 360 Beats PS3 in Red Dead Redemption Race
Red Dead Redemption went to Number 1 in the ELSPA/Chart Track UK video games chart this week - and the console split makes interesting reading.

Having lagged slightly behind the PS3 in multiplatform title races this year, Microsoft's Xbox 360 pulled off a 65% to 35% sales win over its rival.

Now, before Fanboy squeaking makes all of us ill, Sony's console beat the 360 in the same chart on sales of 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa (PS3 = 46%, 360 = 42%); Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (44% vs 42%); Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (51% vs 44%).

That said, the 360 also nabbed Split/Second: Velocity (Xbox 360 = 56% vs PS3 44%) and Lost Planet 2 (60% vs 40%).

Not gonna argue that 360 would probably beat them in this game. But as of right now these figures are not really 'true' figures since there's been a mass shortage of the game on ps3.

Why would anyone want this game on the PS3 over the 360? The game has 20% higher resolution on the 360 as well as more grass and stuff in the desert. The PS3 version is kinda sparce looking.
