Yu Suzuki’s AM2 team has announced that, much to no-one’s surprise, Shenmue 3 is in development at Sega HQ in Tokyo.

Frustratingly, Sega failed to reveal which platform the game is headed to, lending weight to rumours that Microsoft has claimed the title for Xbox, through to the fifth instalment.

Sega confirmed that the story will continue to follow the question-asking exploits of Ryu Hazuki as he tries to track down his father’s killer.
