‘New’ Sega racer disappointment
Sega Grand Heat turns out to be Burnout re-release.

Sega of Japan has disclosed that it’s next racer, known as Sega Grand Heat, will be nothing more than a Burnout re-release for the Japanese market.
News of a racer to be published by Sega emerged just before E3 this year, but was engulfed by the show and generally forgotten. It now turns out that the game will be Burnout for PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
A GameCube version was not mentioned.
Burnout is a quality title and the Japanese gaming community should be able to enjoy its charms. We were just hoping, as were you, that an all-new Sega racer was on the cards.
