Nintendo of Japan has taken a staggering 2 million pre-orders for its Pokemon duo Ruby and Sapphire in the past week alone.
The games go on sale today, amid the strongest pre-release sales seen in Japan this year, guaranteeing the top two spots in the country as the critical holiday period approaches.
