Although barely unwrapped by Japanese gamers, Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby sit astride 2002's biggest-selling games chart in the country following amazing demand for Nintendo's latest RPG collect 'em up.

Released on 21st of November, the pair have netted an incredible 2,740,909 sales, a display of real ultimate video-gaming power.

Keep your eyes peeled for a concrete European release announcement, expected within the next month or so.
