Anyone daring to enter the PSO universe in the guise of a female will be well aware of the “hey baby, wanna cyber?” phenomenon, and it seems that Sonic Team has taken note too.
Between June 13 and June 17, Yuji Naka’s MMORGP team will install a wedding altar in the Lobby 10 area of Phantasy Star, enabling online lovers to virtually tie the knot.
The Lobby will also now play the Wedding March, allowing for the full wedding experience. Apart from the absence of, you know, friends, family, porky bridesmaids and so on.
What’s more, Sonic Team offers digital verification of the marriage, by way of a certificate inventory item.
And that’s that. It’s a funny old world, and no mistake.
