Lara Croft: Born on the Fourth of July
Eidos looks to end farcical release shambles.
Posted 30 Jun 2003

Eidos has today gone on record to state that Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness will be released for PlayStation 2 in the UK this Friday, July 4, ending speculation that the game may slip even further down the schedules.
However, it’s not all definite news, with the rest of Europe getting a “week commencing July 7” to tide them over.
As to what scale of release we can expect remains to be seen. Whether this means that the game will be available in certain stores in limited numbers or a full retail roll-out remains to be seen, though gossip this morning points towards only high-profile retail outlets carrying the game over its launch weekend.
As the saga continues to overshadow Lara’s own adventure, we’ll keep you updated.
