Square-Enix has finally broken its Final Fantasy XII silence, making a commitment to show the game at this year's Tokyo Game Show, due to take place in September 2003.

From what SE has hinted at, the game will be very much a fresh approach to the RPG genre, with offline play complimented by online downloadable content.

Of course, European gamers will still be wondering when they'll get to see Final Fantasy XI…
