As the China-only, allegedly pirate proof iQue looms in the East, the official website has gone live, revealing to some degree the software supported by the Nintendo 64-based TV console.

As you can see from the images, Mario, the only franchise confirmed for the iQue, is in full effect, alongside his squeaky-voiced lady friend Princess Toadstool.

But the news today is that they are joined by Fox McCloud of StarFox fame, and The Legend of Zelda’s very own Link, confirming Chinese-language remakes of the classic N64 titles.

We have also learned that following trials in China, the iQue, if successful in terms of sales and combating piracy, may well be rolled out into other far flung parts of the world, including South and Central America, parts of South East Asia and certain African countries.

We’ll bring you everything Nintendo as we get it.
