Now it's June for DRIV3R worldwide release
That’s PS2 and Xbox only, Buster. PC version to follow.

Bruno Bonnell, Chairman and CEO of Atari stated, "We believe that this additional time will give our marketing team the ability to exploit DRIV3R's full potential, meeting the high expectations of gamers, media and shareholders."
He’s right, of course, but what is arguably the biggest release of 2004 is now further away than you, dear reader, had previously thought. With the GameCube version already canned, the June release means you’ll have a little longer to save up for DRIV3R on PS2 and Xbox. The PC version is due later in the year.

Whassup, they need more time to release Run the Gauntlet (the whole three minutes + two hours of commercials of it)?
The chances of Driv3r coming out a good game have just lifted 0.1% (they currently stand at 1.1%).

I don't think that's fair.
Driver was a great game, and Driver2 was good too, just a little let down by the occassional over-difficult level and drop in framerate.
Stuntman was a complete "look at me" affair, with no gameplay to write home about. It also suffered from slowdown in busy sections.
Idealy, Driv3r would bring back the classic Driver gameplay withg Stuntman's graphic flair. Having had over a year to tweak the engine, we should see better framerates.
We'll just have ot wait (longer) and see.

Dude, are you really as negative as you seem?
Driver was great, Driver 2 was good. Stuntman stank, but the Stunt Arena was a hoot.
If you honestly didn't like them, and you've already made your mind up about Driv3r, even though you haven't seen it in action, and don't know anyone who's played it... why don't you find something else to discuss? Or are you just trolling?
