Just a quick one. Speaking in a recent interview with HomeLANFed, Valve Software statesman Gabe Newell made his most specific commitment to the release of Half-Life 2 to date.

When asked how the game is progressing, Newell said, “Good. It's in great shape. We anticipate delivering it to Vivendi in August,” news that should settle the nerves of some fans, having no doubt picked up on the rumours that the shooter may miss 2004 entirely.

Expect final release dates for all territories as soon as they are revealed, right here.
