For sweet-toothed Namco enthusiasts and Japanese merchandise collectors there is great news. The MegaHouse Corporation is making a range of video-game inspired candy dispensers that would perhaps be better described as statues, depending on their eventual scale. Inside, the lucky owners will find a belly-swelling stash of delicious yoghurt-flavoured confectionary. Mmmm.

The models portray likenesses of Namco favourites such as Pacman, Xevious, Mappy, Dig Dug and Druaga. Look at them and imagine how much you’d love to hold them, play with them, polish them on Sunday afternoons and then remember that you can’t have them because they’re only on sale in Japan. Ha!

*Handbags out* Ooooooooh! Someone's tetchy!

Besides, i'm sure some importer/ebay entrepeneur will get them in. Play Asia gets it in all the time.

Aw man! And I've always wanted a little statue of Pacman wearing a...hat.
