Play Star Wars Galaxies for six months and win free luxury yacht
LucasArts rewards veteran MMORPGers.

Who ever said playing video games wasn’t constructive? LucasArts is promising a free luxury yacht to anyone who’s been a registered Star Wars Galaxies member for at least six months. That sounds like a good deal to us. Except, of course, it isn’t actually a proper boat. It’s not moored off the coast of any beautiful Mediterranean island, and its decks aren’t crowded with nubile, tanned young ladies in bikinis. Instead, it’s just a virtual space ship upgrade that loyal players will be rewarded with if they invest in the latest Star Wars Galaxies expansion pack - Jump to Lightspeed.
The confirmation of the first full retail expansion pack also marks the first birthday of Star War Galaxies, which has now accumulated half a million registered users, making it a genuinely massive multiplayer online RPG.
Jump To Lightspeed, offering 15 new spacecraft, four new professions and two new species is due for release this coming October.

Now, see? Spong could learn a thing or two about what kind of prizes to give away.

I got interested in the game the other day when i player the trial, soon got bored or repetitiveness, though that resulted from constant trying to get XP.
It was a 14 day trial, i have to say its a brilliant game, but rather made for people:
A: with jobs
B:Who are rich and have lots of time
C: Computer geeks
D: star wars geeks
still good fun.

alas I will probably never get to play galaxies, as A. I have a life, and B. I previously bought the game, signed up, never had time to play, couldn't get a re-fund from sony online. lost £60.
