Perhaps the most exciting revelation is the theoretical ability to play games without a copy of the card. This will first appear in Super Mario 64 DS's multiplayer mode, but will likely feature in many multiplayer games to come. Effectively, multiple DS owners can create a wi-fi local games network using just one copy of the game. Which is ace.
Elsewhere, there has also been clarification of the Pokemon movie related developments. DS owners will effectively be able to access special content within the confines of the cinema theatre while the film is showing. It is not yet known if this feature will affect the DS launch title Pokemon Dash, or the soon to be announced Pokemon Diamond DS. However, this wi-fi magic will work with a number of GBA games (providing they're plugged into a DS), including Pokemon Ruby, Leaf Green, Fire Red, Sapphire and Emerald. Inserting the Emerald GBA cart will also unlock new tracks for Pokemon Dash.
It all sounds rather intriguing, and we shall continue to watch what happens in Seattle with extreme interest.

It would be a great promotion option for new games trying to grab your attention. If others can use it too then that's great.
The question is though, does the DS have a rumble feature like my phone so it doesn't make so much noise in the cinema? Otherwise if it's in my pocket how will I know when I'm receiving something. Cinema screen prompt perhaps?
