Latest effort a bit rubbish.

A controller-mounted screen is shunned by this hoaxer, who rather oddly finds the prospect of some sort of motion-sensing device far more exciting. Note that the controller is black like the prototype shown at E3, and that the trend of ever-decreasing Nintendo controller face buttons is rigorously followed.
We refuse to believe that this could ever be genuine, and even if it were true, blind fantasy would be preferable to heartbroken acceptance. But it is perhaps worth pointing out that Nintendo’s PR approach to the forthcoming console generation has generated an inquisitive and creative mood amongst their fanboys, whilst Sony and Microsoft aficionados trustingly intone processor speeds and poly counts.
SPOnG will keep you up to speed on more 'exciting' amateur Photoshoppery as it breaks.

I don't see why these people keep re-using bit's of the gamecube controller, mainly the analogue stick. As far as I'm aware Nintendo have never used bit's of old controllers on new ones. And I'd be very surprised if they're about to start doing for something this important.
Well, the SNES controller was very similar to the NES one, but that is pretty much it. The handhelds have always been similar to one of those two, but that's a moot point.
That is someone's bad Photoshop mix of the Cube pad and the 360's. It's all bad, too; how exactly would I play Cube games with that, never mind the N64 ones? THERE'S ONLY ONE ANALOGUE! I'm thinking it'll be looking quite like a larger Cube Wavebird pad with extra added new control method. Nothing much really needs to change, does it, except that new input?

Actually the Gamecube used the D-pad from the Gameboy Advance! It's the exact same component. In fact I think Nintendo has a patent on a particular type of d-pad shape possibly the cross shape itself.
it just looks s**t
Good point!
Although so far most of the fakes I've seen have lifted the analogue stick and housing straight from the gamecube controller.
I just can't help feeling the controller is going to be a let down when it does finally get released. I remember the hype the DS got, it's good, just with all the hype before hand I was expecting something ....... I'm not sure what just something else!!!
