Continuing the SEGA-themed day, there’s also been a next-gen title for Xbox 360 announced, going by the name of Chrome Hounds. Developed by From Software, the Japanese house responsible for Lost Kingdoms, the game, lamentably, has nothing to do with really shiny dogs at all. It’s a mech game and was in fact shown at E3.

The Xbox only positioning has echoes, for us at least, of Capcom’s Steel Battalion, or Tekki, the game that came complete with enormous, be-pedalled, many buttoned bespoke command console. There’s no mention that Chrome Hounds will get any such exclusive hardware, but it does have big robots and explosions in it, and that’s a recipe that’s been proven to whet the appetite of many an Xbox gamer.
