Some details and a tiny little scan of Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi’s new Xbox exclusive RPG Blue Dragon have cropped up overnight, revealing a far cutesier outing than many had expected.

A few details were released about the game too. Toriyama Akira, acclaimed manga artist, is lead character designer, and Nobuo Uematsu, famed composer for some of the Final Fantasy, games is heading up the music.

The game will be published by Microsoft and will be released in Japan as lead territory in spring 2006.
