Summary

Not content with having swallowed every 20 pence piece you ever had between 1985 and 1995, Capcom is bringing a second round of classic arcade games to your home console. All those afternoons wasted down at the local Superbowl 2000 where if you'd just waited a decade you could have played them from the comfort of your own living room…

Capcom has ported 20 of its classic arcade titles over to the PS2 for a bit of retro gaming delight. Thanks to Classic Collection, you can travel back to the days of side-scrolling and joystick-swivelling from a sitting down position!

Amongst the highlights is 1941: Counter Attack, in which players get the chance to test their nerve above the skies of Europe in an impossible-to-guess year. Remember the days when aerial combat games gave you a Gods-eye view and you didn't sit in the cockpit? Capcom's on hand to remind you.

Also up for grabs is the bizarre Captain Commando. Superman he ain't. But then again, Superman doesn't have a super-smart sidekick called Hoover who happens to be a baby.

Of course, no Capcom collection would be complete without the obligatory Street Fighter game. This one comes with two: Street Fighter 2 Turbo and a game not so many people actually realise exists - plain old Street Fighter.
