Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court in Tyler, Texas, dismissed the case yesterday without need to go to a jury trial.

We also vigorously defend patent lawsuits when we firmly believe that we have not infringed another party’s patent, despite the risks that this policy entails. Microsoft has not been quite so hardy recently. It just settled a patent infringement case out of court to the tune of $90 million.
