The DSi, it turns out, is quite popular. Yes, we know, shocking (GASP!) What you might not have known, however, is that it's more popular than the DS Lite was at launch.

Ninty tells us: "Nintendo announced that sales of Nintendo DSi have taken just eight weeks to reach the one million mark across Europe – five weeks quicker than the Nintendo DS Lite took to reach the level of sales. Coupled with this, almost 500,000 Nintendo DS have been sold across Europe in the same period."
