Haze Demo Coming Soon

PlayStation Network will have the goods

16 Apr 2008

A demo of Haze is heading to the PlayStation 3 in the near future.

Ubisoft, the game's publisher, is remaining coy about the exact date, but we're told it will arrive in "early May".

Of the demo Ubi tells us, "this playable demo will give gamers a taste of not only the single-player campaign in Haze, but will also allow up to four-player, drop-in drop-out co-op play online."

If you want an idea of what to expect of the single-player and co-op modes before the demo hits, SPOnG suggests checking out our recent hands on - you can find it here.

Haze is developed by Free Radical, of TimeSplitters fame. It has recently been confirmed for a May 23rd release.

I think this is one game I might put alongside Duke Nukem Forever...So we have gone to delays too many to list, to many different release dates, to a final release date then what was a release date of the game which is now an unconfirmed release date for a demo.

Its times like this when some people just wont give a rats ass about this game...Mess people around enough and they wont want to know.

There is no point in even releasing this game considering some far better titles will be out in June...

What utter, total and complete nonsense.

But is it entirely nonsense? It doesn't say they shouldn't be allowed, it just says they shouldn't.

I think one of the main points is, if you're waiting for something for too long, you eventually lose interest... Although I haven't done with Haze per se, but other games might "delay" my purchasing of it. I'm looking forward to TimeSplitters 4 more still.
