Gusto Games is aiming to bring an unrivalled gaming experience to the console platforms, by not only providing a number of unique 18 hole golf course challenges, but also by developing an on-line golfing community, never previously brought to the console platforms. Fred Gill and the team at Gusto Games are now embarking on a US presentation tour to discuss a wide range of opportunities with a number of publishing partners. "The product has progressed well with all the main technical issues being resolved. We knew we could develop a great Golf game with our in house technology, but we wanted more. We wanted to produce the most realistic golf game in terms of visual quality and gameplay experience ever to be seen on any gaming platform. This has meant the constant re-evaluation of the work in progress, resulting in a number of recent significant improvements within our gaming technology. We're now pushing the hardware further than ever before to achieve the results that the publishing community are looking for" explains Gill.
Fred Gill Managing Director of Gusto Games goes on to explain that this event and the relationships it has formed with the European Tour puts Gusto Games ahead of any of its current rivals. "We believe at Gusto that our vast experience in the development of officially licensed products appeals to licensee holders as we fully appreciate the importance of working with and protecting brand image. Our involvement with The Heritage signifies our commitment to the sport of golf along with paying tribute to Ken Schofield's tireless work on the European Tour and the professional game as a whole."
Total prize money for the tournament is 2 million Euros, with a first prize of 330,330 Euros. The Tournament will be a 'full' field European Tour stroke play event counting for the Volvo Order of Merit and Official World Ranking Points. The Tournament will be broadcast LIVE on Sky Sports on all four days.
